The Police Media Spokesman states that Lalith Kannangara, alias "Bus Lalith," an organised criminal brought to this country from Dubai, is being detained and interrogated for 72 hours.
Arrested in Dubai, he was brought to the island early today (25).
A team of officers from the Central Crimes Investigation Bureau departed for Dubai recently to bring the suspect to this country.
The suspect was arrested by the police in that country in October last year, according to a notification given by the officers of the Central Crimes Investigation Bureau.
