Beacon, lifeboat found as 22 crew remain missing

Indian authorities ​have recovered an ‌emergency beacon and located a lifeboat ​associated with ​a Panama-flagged ship that ⁠sank in ​the Bay of ​Bengal last week, but no survivors were ​found, the ​coastguard said on Tuesday.

Additional ‌assets ⁠were being deployed to the search and rescue ​efforts ​for ⁠the missing 22 crew ​members of ​the ⁠bulk carrier, it said.
