IMF delegation to visit Sri Lanka next month

A delegation from the International Monetary Fund is scheduled to visit the island next month.

This is for the next review under the Extended Fund Facility.

During this visit, they will conduct the seventh review and are also scheduled to consider the release of the eighth loan tranche.

If the review is successfully completed, the country will receive a sum of approximately USD 330 million.
