New machinery boosts operational capacity at Lanka Phosphate

New operational vehicles and machinery valued at Rs.110 million have been integrated into Lanka Phosphate Company, Eppawala  to enhance production capacity.


The initiative took place yesterday under the patronage of Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti.


As part of the expansion, two-wheel loaders costing Rs.79 million, two tipper trucks worth Rs.18 million, and two forklifts valued at Rs.13 million were added to corporate operations.


Appointment letters were also presented to newly selected drivers to strengthen the company’s operational team.
