An email address was introduced by the police to report social media platforms posting obscene photos of women and children.
The step was taken due to a rise in the dissemination of obscene photographs of women and children, as well as artificial intelligence-generated videos shared through Facebook groups.
Accordingly, complaints regarding such photographs and videos that cause distress to individuals can be sent to the email address [email protected].
Police stated that the Police Computer Crime Investigation Division took necessary measures to identify and deactivate such Facebook groups.
Steps will also be taken to arrest suspects connected to these activities, police said.
