Man arrested with drugs in Hokandara

A man transporting drugs in a motor vehicle was arrested by a team of Special Task Force officers in the Hokandara area, Malabe.

Officers of Special Operations Unit III conducted the raid yesterday (30) in front of a fuel station located on Vanaguru Mawatha, Hokandara, in the Malabe police division, based on information received by Special Task Force officers.

Two kilograms, 105 grams, and 600 milligrams of drugs, along with Rs. 39,290 in cash, were in his possession.

The arrested individual is a 32-year-old resident of Pannipitiya.
