Entrepreneur Hasan Alaldeen steps down from Sarvajana Balaya roles

Entrepreneur Hasan Alaldeen stepped down from all positions within the Sarvajana Balaya party, citing personal reasons.

Alaldeen contested as a National List candidate for the party in the recent General Election and as its mayoral candidate for Colombo during the Local Government Election.

Alaldeen submitted his resignation letter to Sarvajana Balaya General Secretary Ranjan Seneviratne.

The letter conveyed gratitude to party leader Dilith Jayaweera, the General Secretary, and colleagues for support provided since joining the party, noting appreciation for senior responsibilities, candidacy opportunities, and leadership roles entrusted to him.

Gratitude was also expressed to the Chairman of the Sarvajana Muslim Solidarity for the appointment as National Convenor.

Roles vacated by Alaldeen, effective immediately, include Media Secretary of Sarvajana Balaya, National Convenor of Sarvajana Muslim Solidarity, member of the Executive Committee, and member of the Supreme Council.
