The Sri Lanka Navy has rescued three more individuals who were stranded on a sandbar in the sea off Talaimannar.
It has been revealed that this group had also arrived from South India by sea.
Among the rescued individuals are a father and his two children, aged 11 and 13.
With this operation, the Navy has rescued a total of 11 individuals today, comprising five children, four women, and two men.
The group is scheduled to be handed over to the Talaimannar Police Station for further legal procedures.
