The National Dengue Control Unit stated that the number of dengue cases reported in the country so far this year increased to 96,482.
However, showing a relatively low value in the reporting of dengue patients, only 991 patients were reported during the past six days of September.
The highest number of patients out of the total patient count was reported from the Gampaha District, and the National Dengue Control Unit pointed out that this figure is 20,527.
