Hingurakgoda railway station modernisation work begins

Modernisation work on the Hingurakgoda railway station in Polonnaruwa commenced recently.

This took place under the patronage of Minister of Transport, Highways and Urban Development Bimal Rathnayake.

The project to modernise the railway station is being carried out for Rs. 40 million.

These modernisation activities are taking place according to the "Dream Destination" programme under the Clean Sri Lanka initiative.
