Police introduce temporary system for clearance applications

A temporary system was introduced to submit applications due to an urgent maintenance task in the data system for issuing police clearance certificates.

Police Headquarters announced that until the system is updated, applications can be downloaded and completed by visiting the official website www.police.lk.

Accordingly, the completed application along with photocopies of the national identity card and passport must be sent to the email address [email protected].

Police Headquarters announced that no payment needs to be made for it at this moment, and all applicants submitting applications through the temporary system must resubmit their applications via the online system once the data system is restored.
