Scattered showers or thundershowers are expected in many parts of the island after 1:00 pm tomorrow (14), according to the Department of Meteorology.
In a weather advisory issued this afternoon, the department warned that heavy rainfall exceeding 100 millimetres is likely at isolated locations in the North Central, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Uva, and North Western provinces.
Additionally, the Department of Meteorology stated that morning showers may occur in the Western Province, as well as in the Galle and Matara districts.
