Two injured in air rifle shooting at Kegalle hotel

Two people have been injured following a shooting incident that occurred at a hotel in Kegalle.

According to the police, an argument had broken out between a group attending a party at the venue and hotel staff.

During the altercation, a hotel employee allegedly opened fire using an air rifle.

The injured individuals were subsequently admitted to the Kegalle Hospital for treatment.

Police stated that the hotel employee involved in the shooting has been arrested, along with the air rifle used in the incident.
