Sri Lanka Air Force disperses Pirith water via aircraft

The Sri Lanka Air Force has deployed a Y-12 aircraft to disperse blessed Pirith water over several regions currently affected by prolonged dry weather conditions.

The aerial operation was conducted as a religious observance to invoke rainfall and bring relief to affected populations, livestock, and ecosystems across the island.

During the flight, the blessed water was sprayed over target land areas as part of prayers for improved weather, as multiple districts continue to suffer from the ongoing dry spell.
