Jaffna International Airport (JIA) marked a significant milestone today by recording the highest number of aircraft movements handled in a single day since operations commenced.
The airport successfully facilitated two international flights operated by IndiGo, along with five domestic commercial flights by Cinnamon Air and DP Aviation, covering both arrivals and departures.
All aircraft movements were efficiently managed by the Airport and Aviation Services Sri Lanka ground handling team at Jaffna International Airport, underscoring the airport’s growing operational capacity and readiness to support increased domestic and international air traffic.
