Hayleys Agriculture Holdings Limited won awards for three of its business units at the President's Export Awards, the highest national honour bestowed upon Sri Lanka's exporters, for the year 2024/2025.
The outstanding export performance of HJS Condiments Limited, Quality Seed Company Limited, and Hayleys Agro Biotech (Pvt) Ltd was recognised, reflecting the Group's diversity in the agribusiness sector, its ability to positively adapt to changing market conditions, and its global competitiveness.
HJS Condiments Limited was awarded the “Best Exporter – Processed Fruits & Vegetables” award for its excellence in producing and exporting high-quality, value-added processed fruits and vegetables to the global market.
The award was based on the exceptional performance of HJS Condiments Limited in evaluations conducted using several important criteria such as export earnings, timely repatriation of foreign earnings to Sri Lanka, net foreign exchange earnings, market and product diversification, level of value addition, innovation, and sustainable export practices.
Quality Seed Company Limited won the “Best Exporter – Floriculture” award, confirming its leadership in the global floriculture industry. As the only exporter of F1 hybrid flower seeds in Sri Lanka, the company makes a significant contribution to foreign exchange earnings through the export of seeds produced using sophisticated and precise technology.
Further strengthening the Group's achievements, Hayleys Agro Biotech (Pvt) Ltd was awarded the “Merit Award – Floriculture” for its innovative contribution to the field of plant tissue culture.
The award recognises the company’s success in exporting high-value planting materials internationally through advanced tissue culture technology.
