Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC agreed to purchase the factory premises of ACME Printing and Packaging PLC for 630 million rupees to expand local manufacturing operations. The Sale and Purchase Agreement, executed on 28 April, covers the property located at Assessment No. 345, Gonamadiththa Road, Piliyandala, according to a disclosure filed with the Colombo Stock Exchange.
The company intended the acquisition to strengthen domestic production capacity as it positions itself to scale up local manufacturing.
