The SLIIT Business School has announced the launch of VogueFest’26 for the third consecutive year, positioning it as a leading platform that blends fashion, creativity and business innovation.
More than a runway event, VogueFest has evolved into a space where emerging talent connects with industry leaders and where artistry meets strategy.
VogueFest’26 will be held on 28 August 2026 at SLIIT Malabe, offering a vibrant platform that celebrates creativity, diversity and innovation in fashion.
As preparations gather momentum, the organisers have invited fashion brands, industry leaders and corporate partners to collaborate, highlighting the event’s role as a hub for networking, knowledge exchange and talent development.
At the core of the initiative is the BSc (Hons) Fashion Business and Management degree, a globally recognised programme delivered in partnership with the Manchester Fashion Institute of Manchester Metropolitan University.
The programme is designed to meet the demands of a fast-evolving global fashion industry by combining creative insight with critical business skills. VogueFest serves as a practical extension of this academic vision, translating classroom learning into a real-world showcase.
The event will feature a range of competitive categories including Best Designer, Best Male Model, Best Female Model, Most Popular Male Model and Most Popular Female Model. The “Most Popular” titles will be determined through a mix of ticket-based voting and social media engagement, encouraging strong audience participation.
Choreography for this year’s show will be led by Rozanne Diasz, bringing professional expertise and industry experience to the production.
In addition to the runway, VogueFest’26 will include two open competition segments: Emerging Fashion Entrepreneur of the Year and the VogueFest Sketch Showcase. These segments aim to encourage innovation, recognise new business ideas and provide broader opportunities for aspiring creatives.
VogueFest continues to position itself as an incubator for future industry leaders, offering students hands-on exposure and direct engagement with designers, brands and professionals.
Through this initiative, SLIIT Business School reinforces its commitment to nurturing graduates equipped to lead in a competitive global fashion landscape.
