The 34th Edition of FACETS Sri Lanka organized by the Sri Lanka Gem & Jewellery Association, will take place from the 4 to 6 January 2027 at the iconic Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams Colombo.
The landmark event will bring together over one hundred exhibitors representing the finest gem and jewellery companies in the country. Buyers from the USA, Europe, the Middle East, India, China, Thailand and other key markets will converge in Colombo to experience Sri Lanka’s unmatched craftsmanship and gemstone excellence.
The 34th Edition of FACETS Sri Lanka will include dedicated sections that showcase the island’s world‑renowned sapphires and contemporary luxury jewellery, while a series of special events, including Sapphire Night, Story Corner, Power Breakfast, Mine Tour and Port City Tour, will create opportunities for networking, knowledge‑sharing and collaboration.
The success of FACETS Sri Lanka continues to be strengthened by the support of the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB) and the National Gem & Jewellery Authority (NGJA). As long-standing partners of the exhibition, the EDB plays a key role in connecting Sri Lanka's gem and jewellery industry with international buyers and markets, while the NGJA works to uphold industry standards and support the sector's sustainable growth.
The SLGJA unveiled the FACETS 2027 theme and promotional teaser video during the media conference while also announcing the event dates for the next three years, reinforcing the exhibition’s role as a cornerstone of Sri Lanka’s gem and jewellery calendar.
Akram Cassim, President of SLGJA remarked: “FACETS 2027 represents the very best of Sri Lanka. It brings together our centuries‑old gemstone heritage, our skilled artisans, our entrepreneurs and our spirit of innovation, reminding the world that Sri Lanka is not only the source of exceptional gemstones, but also a trusted destination for excellence in the global gem and jewellery trade.”
Shezmin Mansoor, Chairman of FACETS Sri Lanka 2027, added: “FACETS 2027 shines a spotlight on the journey of Sri Lanka’s greatest natural treasures. More than an exhibition, FACETS is a celebration of our heritage, our artisans, and the pursuit of perfection that has established Sri Lanka as a trusted leader in the global gem and jewellery industry.”
