Celeste has appointed Dayan Pandithasekera as Chief Operating Officer, a move that marks another defining step in the company's growth as one of Sri Lanka's fastest-growing retailers. Since its founding, Celeste has doubled its turnover approximately every two years, and the appointment supports the next stage of that trajectory.
The appointment forms part of Celeste's broader strategy to strengthen its executive leadership as the company continues expanding its operations, technology and customer experience. As one of Sri Lanka's fastest-growing quick commerce companies, Celeste continues to scale its operations across multiple fulfilment locations to serve a rapidly growing customer base of nearly 200,000 customers.
