Having opened in 2013, the Giriulla Branch of National Savings Bank (NSB) has provided customer service to the area for more than 13 years. With a view to offering customers an enhanced banking experience, the branch was ceremonially reopened recently at a new location on Colombo Road, Giriulla.
The Chairman of National Savings Bank, Dr Harsha Cabral, PC, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Divisional Secretary of the Mirigama Divisional Secretariat, Prasad Indika; Acting General Manager/CEO of National Savings Bank, Rohana Weerakoon; Deputy General Manager (Operations), Nalika Wijesinghe; Assistant General Manager (Operations), A. L. M. Haleem; Regional Manager, Vindya Wijewantha; Manager of the Giriulla Branch, Manjula Surasinghe; several state officials; and representatives of the business community were also present.
On the first day, deposits were accepted by the guests, with the first deposit being handed over to the Chairman of National Savings Bank, Dr Harsha Cabral, PC, by Dr Kusum Wickramarathne.
The relocated branch, which features spacious premises and modern banking facilities, including an ATM, looks forward to providing enhanced services to the people of the area.
