Ceylon Hotels Corporation has issued a corporate guarantee of up to Rs. 145 million to Commercial Bank of Ceylon to facilitate banking facilities obtained by its subsidiary, CHC Rest Houses.
In a disclosure to the Colombo Stock Exchange under Section 08 of the Listing Rules and Corporate Disclosure Appendix 8A-17, the company said CHC Rest Houses has requested and obtained banking facilities from Commercial Bank of Ceylon.
Accordingly, Ceylon Hotels Corporation has issued a corporate guarantee to Commercial Bank of Ceylon on behalf of CHC Rest Houses for a sum not exceeding Rs. 145 million.
The company said the aggregate value of corporate guarantees provided by Ceylon Hotels Corporation to its subsidiary exceeds 20% of the company’s net worth, based on its latest published balance sheet for the financial year 2024/25.
The disclosure was made pursuant to a Board Resolution passed on August 14, 2026.
