HNB FINANCE has relocated its Nelliady branch to Jaffna Road, Nelliady, strengthening its presence in the Northern Province and expanding access to financial services for customers in the area.
The relocation comes amid growing demand for financial solutions in the region and forms part of the company’s wider efforts to support households, entrepreneurs and businesses through access to savings, credit, leasing and other financial services.
The Nelliady branch offers a range of financial products, including gold loans, leasing, fixed deposits, savings and microfinance facilities. Customers can also access gold-backed lending products such as Gold Plan and VIP Gold Loan, which offer access to funds with flexible repayment options.
The relocated branch was ceremonially opened on August 7, 2026 by HNB FINANCE Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer Chaminda Prabhath, in the presence of senior management representatives, distinguished guests and customers.
Prabhath said HNB FINANCE remained focused on strengthening its position as a financial services provider while expanding access to solutions that meet the changing needs of customers.
“HNB FINANCE commenced its journey 26 years ago, and since then we have grown into one of Sri Lanka’s leading financial services companies. Today, we are able to provide customers with a comprehensive range of solutions covering their key financial requirements,” he said.
“Through the relocated Nelliady branch, we aim to further improve the customer experience while widening access to financial solutions. Our focus goes beyond delivering quality financial services, and we remain committed to building long-term relationships by understanding the needs of our customers and supporting them through different stages of their economic journey,” Prabhath added.
Improved access to formal financial services can support regional economic development by enabling households, self-employed individuals and small enterprises to access savings, credit and asset-financing facilities.
