Young Renu Dhariyal in Uttarakhand State of India succeeded in breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest hair of a living woman. The length of her hair stands at 8 feet 10 inches (271.5 centimetres), and reports indicate that she thus surpassed the record previously held by a Ukrainian woman.
Having decided never to cut her hair in 2015, she cared for her hair out of love for having long hair. Instead of using expensive beauty products, she said that she cares for her hair using chemical-free traditional household products and oils.
However, she has also told the media that intense effort and patience are required to wash, dry, and comb such long hair.
Her exceptional achievement was officially confirmed by the Guinness organisation.
