Sunrisers Hyderabad retain Kamindu Mendis and Eshan Malinga for IPL 2026

The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) team decided to retain Sri Lankan cricketers Kamindu Mendis and Eshan Malinga for the IPL 2026 season.

In addition to the two Sri Lankan players, SRH chose to retain several other key players, including Pat Cummins, Travis Head, and Abhishek Sharma. It is understood that these retention and release decisions were based on the players' performances in recent tournaments.

Among the notable players released by the team are Mohammed Shami, Adam Zampa, Rahul Chahar, Wiaan Mulder, Abhinav Manohar, Atharva Taide, and Sachin Baby.
