India's first innings ends at 462 runs

India recorded a massive score of 462 runs all out, concluding their first innings, in the first Test match held between Sri Lanka and India at the Galle International Cricket Stadium.

Devdutt Padikkal scored a brilliant 167 runs for the Indian team, and it is a special moment that it was his first Test century.

His innings included 15 boundaries and a six. KL Rahul strengthened the Indian innings, scoring 82 runs, and Dhruv Jurel scored 51 runs.

For Sri Lanka, Prabath Jayasuriya claimed 4 wickets for 109 runs, while Keshara Nuwantha, playing in his maiden Test match, claimed 3 wickets for 175 runs.

Today is the third day of the match.
