Remains of late Pandith Amaradeva placed at Independence Square

The remains of late Dr. Pandith WD Amaradeva is placed at the Independence Square for public viewing.

The cortege carrying his remains started from a private funeral parlor in Borella.

President Maithripala Sirisena, politicians and a large number of artistes joined the cortege while offering a floral tribute to the late maestro.
