An island-wide school and hospital access road development program were launched today (02).
This was after laying the foundation stone for the subway to be constructed near the Sir John Kotelawala School in Kurunegala under the patronage of the Highways Minister Johnston Fernando.
The Minister instructed the Secretary to the Ministry of Highways to provide him with all the details of the access roads to rural schools and hospitals identified as needing to be developed.
