KATUGASTOTA-MAHAIYAWA ROAD SUBMERGED BY HEAVY RAIN

The Mahaiyawa area on the Katugastota Road in Kandy was submerged by floodwaters this afternoon (09) due to a sudden and heavy downpour.

The flooding, which occurred after approximately one hour of rain in Kandy and its suburbs, also affected business establishments, including car sales centres in the area.
