President to meet with protesting school development officers today

A discussion between the President and school development officers is scheduled for today (03) regarding their demand for absorption into the teaching service.

These officers, who have been engaged in teaching duties for over six years, began a "fast-to-death" protest in front of the Presidential Secretariat on the 26th. The strike enters its ninth consecutive day today, following a demonstration held at the site yesterday.
