The stock of ICE and heroin brought to the Dikowita Fisheries Harbour has an estimated value of Rs. 10 billion.
Deputy Minister of Defence Aruna Jayasekera shared this evaluation following the arrival of the illegal cargo today (12).
The two vessels, intercepted by the Navy in the southern seas a few days ago, carried both narcotics and a cache of firearms.
During the operation, authorities arrested five suspects found aboard one of the craft.
