The Kirinda Police have initiated an investigation to apprehend a group of individuals who opened fire towards the Yala National Reserve before fleeing the scene. The incident occurred near the wildlife roadblock on the Kirinda-Yala road.
Authorities suspect that the shooting was carried out by a group of poachers. Following the incident, three special police teams have been deployed to track down and arrest the suspects involved in the breach.
