Price of bakery foods won't be hiked despite wheat flour price hike

The Prima company increased the price of a kilogram of wheat flour by Rs. 4.

Despite this hike, the All Ceylon Bakery Owners' Association decided not to raise the prices of bakery products.

The association further stated that even though wheat flour costs grew, they will maintain the current prices of bread and other bakery items to provide relief to consumers under prevailing conditions.
