Autobahn Traders (Pvt) Ltd, a respected name in the import and distribution of brand-new BMW vehicle spare parts, has adopted a digital-first transformation strategy aimed at improving operational efficiency and delivering enhanced customer care to fleet owners and individual customers in the premium automotive segment.
Now in its eighth year as a trusted partner in automotive spare parts, Autobahn Traders has successfully completed a rapid one-year rollout of the Odoo ERP system. The implementation is expected to improve efficiency and inventory accuracy, two key requirements in serving BMW workshops, garage owners, and vehicle enthusiasts.
The company imports spare parts through authorised channels from several global markets, including Germany, the UK, Turkey, Singapore, India, China, and Malaysia.
“Our strategy to pursue a digital-first transformation reflects our commitment to continuously providing the best service to our customers. Given the complexity of auto spare parts, real-time and accurate part identification, availability, and competitive price communication are extremely important in our line of business,” said Ushlah Aluthge, Operations Director of Autobahn Traders (Pvt) Ltd.
“Hence, the deployment of the ERP system was critical to maintaining our service standards during a period of growth,” she added.
Managing Director Hasith Senarathne said the company will further strengthen efficiency and productivity by completing the implementation of the 5S methodology over the next three months, while also progressing towards ISO certification for quality excellence.
Both directors said Autobahn Traders remains focused on technology, leadership, and sustainable growth, adding that strong commitment and leadership were key to the successful ERP deployment and continued business expansion.
Autobahn Traders also operates with a 99.9 percent female workforce, promoting women’s empowerment while encouraging continuous staff development to support future growth.
With Senarathne bringing more than 18 years of experience in banking, financial services, and strategy, and Aluthge contributing over 18 years of expertise in sales, IT, and ERP systems, the leadership team brings more than 35 years of combined experience to guide the company into its next phase of growth.
