Eran Wickremaratne resigns from all positions in SJB

Former Member of Parliament, Eran Wickremaratne, resigned from all positions in the Samagi Jana Balawegaya upon accepting the chairmanship of the Sri Lanka Cricket Interim Committee.

SJB General Secretary and Member of Parliament Ranjith Madduma Bandara confirmed that Wickremaratne informed the party of his resignation from both the Executive Committee and the Management Committee. This decision was reportedly made to protect the independence of the cricket interim committee and ensure its operations remain transparent.
