Fertiliser prices are likely to increase in the future as the amount paid for upcoming stocks exceeds previous rates.
Deputy Minister Namal Karunaratne made these remarks yesterday during an observation tour of the Rambe Agrarian Centre in Polpithigama.
While engaging in a discussion with officials following the visit, he noted that the costs incurred for these shipments necessitate a price adjustment.
