Minor flood risk in the Kalu River Basin

The Irrigation Department warns there is a minor flood risk in areas surrounding the Kalu River Basin.

Accordingly, residents living in low-lying areas of the Divisional Secretariat Divisions of Ratnapura, Kuruwita, Ayagama, Elapatha, and Kiriella have been advised to remain vigilant.
