Health Ministry declares three-day national mosquito eradication drive

The Ministry of Health took steps to declare three special days with the aim of eradicating the mosquito menace in the country.

The Ministry of Health and Mass Media stated that this special mosquito eradication programme is scheduled to be implemented throughout the country over the upcoming 08th, 09th and 10th of June.

The Department of Health has already commenced activities to raise public awareness regarding the special activities planned for implementation during this mosquito eradication week and the important health messages that the public should focus on.

Direct contribution of the public to destroy mosquito breeding sites and keep the environment clean is expected through this.
