Italian defence and aerospace group Leonardo said on Monday it received from Avincis, Europe's largest provider of emergency air services, an order for 15 helicopters.
No value for the contract was disclosed.
The order is for ten AW169 light intermediate and 5 AW139 intermediate twin-engine helicopters.
They are due to be delivered during 2028-2031.
Three of the AW139 helicopters will be deployed in Sweden.
Helicopters have historically been one of Leonardo’s strong points, accounting for about 25% of revenues in the FY 2025.
