The outgoing High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Sri Lanka, Tareq Md Ariful Islam, met Prime Minister Dr Harini Amarasuriya as he concludes his tenure.
The meeting took place yesterday at Temple Trees.
During the meeting, extensive discussions were held on the importance of continuing cooperation in the education sector to strengthen the future educational activities of the youth of both countries.
Meanwhile, the Prime Minister also held discussions with the outgoing Ambassador of Belgium to Sri Lanka, Didier Vanderhasselt, as he concludes his tenure, and the Prime Minister's Office announced that attention of both countries focused on strengthening cooperation in the education sector during that meeting as well.
