Deputy Minister T. B. Sarath, at a recent event have said that even the World Bank has certified that Sri Lanka is a fastest developing country in South Asia.
The deputy minister mentioned that the current government took over the country at a time when the state treasury was empty, the country was bankrupt, and queues existed everywhere.
