Dead body of individual missing in Maha Oya found

The dead body of the individual who went missing while bathing in Maha Oya in the Mirigama-Madurupitiya area was found this afternoon (16).

An individual aged 42 residing in the Mirigama area has died.

Three individuals who went to bathe in Maha Oya yesterday afternoon drowned, and local residents rescued one person and admitted him to the Dambadeniya Hospital.

A youth aged 19 who was in serious condition due to the incident also died yesterday (15), it was reported.
