'Bus Lalith' extradited from Dubai

Alleged organised criminal Lalith Kannangara, also known as 'Bus Lalith', who was arrested in Dubai, was brought back to the island.

A team of officers from the Central Crimes Investigation Bureau departed for Dubai recently to bring the suspect back to the country.

The suspect was arrested by the police in that country in October last year following a notification provided by officers of the Central Crimes Investigation Bureau.
