VietJet Air officially opened its Colombo office at a ceremony inaugurated by Trinh Thi Tam, Ambassador of Vietnam to Sri Lanka.
The airline’s operations in Sri Lanka will be represented by its General Sales Agent (GSA), Andrew The Aviation Company (Pvt) Ltd, under the leadership of Chairman Mahen Kariyawasan.
The new Colombo office will function as a hub for passenger services, trade partnerships, travel agent support and operational coordination in Sri Lanka, further strengthening air connectivity between the two countries.
Ambassador Trinh Thi Tam highlighted the growing bilateral ties between Vietnam and Sri Lanka and welcomed VietJet Air’s expanded presence in the local market.
Mahen Kariyawasan noted that the partnership is expected to enhance travel opportunities while supporting tourism growth and commercial cooperation between the two nations.
