James Beard Award-winning chef, restauranteur and author Kwame Onwuachi has signed with CAA.
CAA has secured partnerships for Onwuachi as a member of American Express and Resy’s Culinary Collective, featuring his recipes in Centurion Lounges across the globe, and as a Lexus Culinary Master.
A “Top Chef” Season 13 contestant, Onwuachi trained at the Culinary Institute of America and opened his first restaurants by the age of 30, including the Afro-Caribbean Kith/Kin in Washington, D.C.
This spring, the award-winning chef expanded his slate of restaurants to the West Coast with the opening of Maroon, in partnership with Sahara Las Vegas. The expansion follows the success of Tatiana in New York City, which has made The New York Times’ list of top 100 restaurants every year since opening in 2022. There’s also Dōgon in Washington, D.C., which was named No. 8 on Washingtonian magazine’s 100 Very Best Restaurants list in 2026. Patty Palace by Chef Kwame is available at Citi Field and Barclays Center in New York City.
“All Hours,” Onwuachi’s next cookbook, launches on Sept. 22. His first cookbook, “My America: Recipes from a Young Black Chef” was published in 2022. His 2019 memoir, “Notes from a Young Black Chef,” is being adapted into a film with Phillip Youmans as director.
Onwuachi has previously hosted the James Beard Awards, created the 2025 Met Gala menu and appeared as a judge or featured on “Top Chef,” “Chopped” and “Somebody Feed Phil.” He is an executive producer for “Food & Wine.”
Onwuachi will continued to be represented by Lev Ginsburg and Josh Krauss of Ginsburg Daniels Kallis LLP, and Carma Connected.
