The seventh stage of a multi-speciality medical clinic, organised to ensure the well-being of army personnel, concluded successfully today in Ampara.
Over 1,250 individuals attended the clinic at the Sri Lanka Army Combat Training School, including wounded war heroes and retired army members from the Ampara and Batticaloa districts, as well as the next of kin of fallen soldiers.
The clinic, supervised by the Directorate of Ranaviru Services and Rehabilitation, provided a wide range of services, including medical and mental health counselling, dental care, and mobile laboratory and physiotherapy clinics.
Wheelchairs, crutches, and spectacles were also donated to wounded war heroes. Army Commander Lieutenant General Lasantha Rodrigo was the chief guest at the event.
