Rain disrupted the start of the second One Day International match between the visiting Sri Lanka team and the West Indies team. Although the match was previously scheduled to commence at 01:00 am Sri Lanka time, adverse weather conditions interfered, forcing a slight delay to the toss.

Following the toss, the West Indies team won and invited the Sri Lanka team to bat first, but rain currently falling at the Sabina Park ground in Kingston disrupted the start of play.
