Sri+Lanka+wins+silver+at+Asian+Throwing+Championships

Sri Lanka secured a silver medal at the Asian Throwing Championships currently held in South Korea. Nadisha Lekamge won the medal in the women’s javelin throw event with a performance of 56.7 metres.


The Asian Throwing Championships commenced in South Korea yesterday. In addition to the javelin throw, events such as shot put and discus throw are scheduled to take place during the competition.
