Sri Lanka has secured another silver medal at the ongoing Asian Throwing Championships in South Korea.


The medal was earned in the men’s javelin throw event, where Sumedha Ranasinghe delivered an impressive performance with a distance of 76.95 meters, finishing in second place.


The Asian Throwing Championships officially began in South Korea yesterday.


In addition to the javelin throw, the tournament features other field events, including shot put and discus throw, which are scheduled to take place over the course of the competition.
