AC Mahagedara Pvt. Ltd., one of Sri Lanka’s fast-growing air-conditioning distribution and service providers, has strengthened its islandwide footprint with the opening of its newest branch in Galle, marking another milestone in the company’s rapid expansion journey.

The new branch is expected to improve access to professional air-conditioning solutions for customers across the Southern Province while supporting growing demand for quality cooling systems in homes, hotels, offices and commercial establishments.

Founded in 2023, AC Mahagedara has rapidly emerged as a leading player in Sri Lanka’s air-conditioning sector, building a customer base of over 10,000 within a short period.

The company specialises in distributing air-conditioning units from major brands while also providing installation, maintenance and after-sales services through a skilled technical team.

The opening of the Galle branch forms part of the company’s broader strategy to expand its service network and deliver faster, more convenient solutions to customers across the country. With operations already established in Colombo and Kandy, the latest addition enables AC Mahagedara to serve the Southern region more efficiently while reducing response times for installations and technical support.

Managing Director and CEO Gayan Buddhika stated that the new branch reflects the company’s commitment to making reliable and professional air-conditioning solutions accessible to customers regardless of location.

“Since our inception, our focus has been on delivering quality products, dependable service and customer convenience. The opening of our Galle branch is another important step in bringing our services closer to customers while supporting regional development and business growth,” he said.

AC Mahagedara currently employs more than 150 personnel islandwide and is recognised for its same-day installation services, comprehensive product portfolio and customer-centric approach. In addition to air-conditioning units, the company also supplies spare parts and related accessories, offering complete cooling solutions under one roof.

The company recently received recognition for Excellence in AC Distribution and Service Innovation at the Diamond Excellence Awards 2025, reflecting its growing reputation within Sri Lanka’s competitive air-conditioning sector.
